General Summary

This position forms a critical part of the Rochester Electronics Customer Service Team. Reporting to the contact highlighted above, the individual will be positioned in a team environment, working closely with several stakeholders within the business and driving the overall Company Business Strategy. Excellent attention to detail and ERP knowledge are essential, and equally excellent communication skills are required to help support and execute Business Plans and Sales Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier with the assigned customer base. Assist in exceeding the defined sales/revenue budget. Responsibilities

  • Act as a Liaison between Sales Representatives and/or customers with cross-functionality to perform and execute customer service responsibilities efficiently, effectively, and with friendly, helpful service. Develop internal and external relationships to a high level of satisfaction, ensuring all who cross paths are 'Glad they called'.
  • Processes sales order allocations and ensure timely delivery of order acknowledgment, tracking, and invoicing the customer within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Reviewing and updating sales orders entered against customer purchase orders and change requests received to ensure accuracy.
  • Working to resolve discrepancies, returns, financial queries, and complaints with a high level of professionalism in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Creating new customer accounts, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining up-to-date information.
  • Documents maintains and shares customer feedback to continuously improve customer service and evolve the customer experience.
  • Provide excellent customer service through professional communication to external customers and all colleagues within the business.
  • Participates in team meetings to understand and support sales strategy and overall objectives.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience within a similar role in a dynamic, fast-paced semiconductor environment.
  • Maintaining strong analytical skills and business acumen combined with a strong degree of creative flair and passion is required.
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks simultaneously and manage them effectively.
  • Communication skills: confident and effective in explaining concepts and situations to co-workers, business partners, and customers of differing languages and cultures. Both written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem solving is the ability to identify root causes, and realize and implement solutions.
  • Performs successfully under light supervision.
  • Builds strong and successful relationships, effectively supporting and influencing colleagues, partners, suppliers, customers, and global team members.
  • Demonstrates vision, passion, commitment, integrity, transparency, taking responsibility, and building trust.
  • Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude with an ability to absorb & learn quickly.
  • While taking a nimble, creative, and proactive approach, the ability to work to the highest accuracy in demanding situations under time constraints
