General Summary

The focus of this role is to optimize the configuration and utilization of the Salesforce Platform and related technologies. Executes business strategy by recommending, designing, developing, and deploying Sales cloud solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders. Enhances system leveraging feedback and drives user adoption.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the business users, business applications team members, and software vendors, documents requirements, designs, and implements solutions and business process flows consistent with Salesforce best practices.
  • Leads and facilitates meetings with business users and end users, such as requirements sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, or end-user training.
  • Researches evaluates and educates stakeholders on options and emphasizes out-of-box standard solutions when possible.
  • Manages any system code/configuration changes required related to Salesforce releases.
  • Maintains and optimizes Workflow, Process Builders, Flows, custom settings, page layouts, Lightning pages, etc.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of designated systems.
  • Provides data-driven advice on how to expand or refine system operations to meet company needs.
  • Drives Salesforce adoption by developing an understanding of business objectives and processes by communicating with stakeholders.
  • Participates actively in Salesforce Cloud selection, design, and implementation efforts.
  • Updates Sales leadership and IT (Information Technology) management on project status, including budget, risks, and general business issues.
  • Trains users on how to appropriately utilize business applications.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge regarding the platforms updates, new tools, and features.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or training.
  • Minimum 10 years experience as an applications analyst or in a similar role.
  • Salesforce Certifications or a minimum of 5 years experience implementing solutions using Salesforce Clouds.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), or Marketing Cloud.
  • Epicor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Kinetic System experience is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose information technology issues.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to drive and complete project plans and objectives.
  • Strong ability to structure actions into concise, easily understandable, and productive plans.
  • Knowledge of general business processes from a user perspective, especially Global Sales, Mkt, Supplier Dev, & Operations.
