Electro-Mechanical Technician

Be part of the team that builds cutting-edge technology to ensure airplane and train safety! As a Matec Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll sharpen your expertise by working alongside industry veterans and building one-of-a-kind testing systems.

Here's what you'll do as an Electro-Mechanical Tech:

• Build custom systems, using your skills to bring state-of-the-art designs to life.
• Collaborate with all departments to create cutting-edge solutions to solve complex problems for our aerospace and railroad customers.
• Build machines and sub-assemblies to design requirements and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret schematics.
• Use test equipment to perform functional testing.

Here's what you need to apply for the Electro-Mechanical Tech position:

• Automation Machine Build Assembly experience is strongly desired.

• Strong maintenance/mechanical background
• Must be versatile in and around a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machine tool assembly and use of typical machine shop equipment like mills, lathes, grinders, and hand tools
• Previous experience with mechanical assembly and maintenance in the automation industry.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and electrical schematics/wiring diagrams.
