Job description

Our client, a construction company in the Greater Boston area, is seeking a temporary to hire Front Desk Coordinator to join their team! This role is onsite, with the hours being from 9am to 3pm and is compensating $23 an hour. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and inform the appropriate team members of their arrival.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Prepare mailing labels or envelopes and apply postage for outgoing mail.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (Fed-Ex, UPS, etc.)
- Keep the front office and other communal areas in neat and professional condition.
- Coordinate meetings and interviews as needed.
- Monitor office and kitchen supply levels and assist in ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing them.
- Prepare agendas/handouts and/or order food/refreshments for company meetings.
- Provide assistance with scanning, photocopying, shredding, faxing, filing, and collating.
- Complete additional administrative projects and assignments as requested/needed.
- Set up and manage workstations for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Main point of contact with property management, vendors, etc.
- While not required, having a Notary Public certification would be a plus.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships.
- Detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and able to effectively multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be approachable, understanding, patient, must adhere to the designated policies and procedures and communicate any potential risks to management.
- Possesses excellent time management and prioritization skills to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate deliverables.
- Must display initiative and independent thinking.
- Must have robust knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Must be able to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and may lift or move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
