We are seeking a Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Manager to join Anduril, working in a cutting-edge start- up environment to advance the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics. Candidates for this role should have experience in hardware or integrated product development and have ideally worked within all stages of a standard product life cycle. They should be technically inclined with strong leadership skills, and able to comfortably understand core engineering design principles. The right individual needs to be excited about the prospects of working on a growing team and will be expected to provide feedback on process improvement opportunities. WHAT YOU'LL DO Work within and lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) design, integration, and test efforts Responsible for performance management including balancing priorities, track team performance, performance reviews, maintaining development and growth plans Collaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, and field test engineering teams to provide a cohesive and results-driven approach to subsystem and system level design and evaluation Provide leadership in defining technology, tools, documentation, and process strategy across a technical domain with a focus on systems specification, integration, validation and test Move quickly and lead technical efforts to define need, identify possible solutions, and generate methodology for evaluation and verification Provide technical direction, coaching and mentoring to employees on the team, and others, when necessary to achieve successful short and long-term outcomes Foster a culture which is a positive, trusted, dedicated, high energy, high ownership, teaching, learning, and fun community environment Lead and support delivery of innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers' changing needs REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years in hardware or integrated product development and/or test, including management of technical team Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders across a wide range of technical areas. A strong background in Systems Engineering lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment and sustainment Experience with AS9100, MIL-STD 810, IEEE15882.1,or equivalent QMS and rigorous environmental test standards Extremely organized and detail-oriented Willingness to travel to customer events and demonstrations up to 1 week at a time, several times within a year. Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. top secret security clearance US Salary Range $142,000 - $213,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
