Baystate Health, western MA only academic center and tertiary care provider and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region or the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School Baystate, is seeking a seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine physician to join our Academic Community Health Center at Baystate High Street in Springfield, MA.

Position Highlights:

  • Join a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practitioners providing innovative and compassionate outpatient care to an inner-city community.
  • Care for a diverse patient population with complex needs and health disparities, with opportunities for community involvement.
  • Work within our NACQ Patient Centered Medical Home, supported by a multidisciplinary team including Certified Nurse-Midwives, Behavioral Health Specialists, Opioid Addiction Treatment Experts, HIV Specialists, Infectious Disease Specialists, and Pharmacists.
  • Faculty appointment at UMass Chan School of Medicine, with opportunities to precept Internal Medicine residents and medical students.
  • Engage in a role that combines primary care, urgent care, and teaching responsibilities.
  • This position is part time, 20 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be BC/BE by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical, teaching, and communication skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
