Creative Financial Staffing has been exclusively retained by a growing professional services company to identify a Controller to join their team.

About the Company Seeking a Controller:

• They are a professional services company with over $25M in revenue, transitioning from an entrepreneurial stage environment to a sophisticated financial organization.
• They have had consistent profitability and proven growth. Both Revenue and EBITDA have more than doubled in the past 5 years.
• This role will have hands-on responsibility for the daily operations of the accounting/finance function.
• The company offers a close-knit, laid-back environment and understands the demands of life outside of work. They are flexible and supportive.

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Lead the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage accounting activities, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making
• Supervise and mentor a dynamic team of accounting professionals

Preferred Background for the Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or experience equivalent (+4 years in similar role)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Must have hands-on experience working in an accounting and financial management function in a high growth company
• Experience establishing and implementing process improvement initiatives

Salary Range:
Based on experience, between $130,000 - $150,000
