Creative Financial Staffing is working with a well-established service company located north of Boston to help them find an experienced Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate must have experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all payroll records, including salaries, hourly wages, corporate benefits, and adjustments.
• Process weekly payroll for approximately 400 union and non-union employees.
• Handle payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, raises, and system upgrades, and communicate these changes across the company.
• Oversee the timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll policies and regulations.
• Handle certified payroll reporting, union, and prevailing wage calculations on a weekly basis.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience.
• Strong experience with union payroll processing is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of wage laws, tax regulations, employee benefits administration, garnishments, and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and union group reporting and payments.
• Ability to work independently and manage the payroll process with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong self-motivation.
