The effective candidate will provide in-depth knowledge of Quality Management System requirements to support Test Equipment Development efforts for various Programs. TEQE ensures program execution in accordance with RTX's Quality Management System (QMS), which is based on AS9100/ISO 9001. In addition, Quality Test Equipment Engineering supports Raytheon's Quality Policy with an emphasis on Quality Excellence, Customer Satisfaction and Continual Improvement. This is an onsite position. What You Will Do Work closely with the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team to provide expertise, guidance and management of issues encountered during design, development, build, integration and product realization of Depot and Factory Test Equipment.
Ensure the proper execution of root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action, continuous improvement, compliance with RTX policies and procedures, deployment and alignment of the quality engineering processes.
Oversee the Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) of newly developed test equipment as well as implementing updates to existing test equipment in meeting all its intended requirements for test of products manufactured by RTX.
Participate in Peer Reviews and formal inspections of work products as defined in Program Planning Documentation such as design reviews
Review plans and procedures, test plans and reports, software inspections, test and sale readiness reviews
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, customer interface and gate reviews, understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Act as a customer representative for test station validation and sell-off activities.
Support Acceptance of Test Equipment (ATE) with the customer as needed Qualification You Must Have Typically requires bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of relevant experience. Working experience with failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions. Working experience with Quality Management Systems, to include ISO 9001, AS9100 and/or AS9102. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Active Secret Clearance. Problem-solving skills. Negotiating and communication skills needed to work with multi-functional teams. Raytheon CORE Foundation or equivalent; Industry certifications in Quality (ASQ/ISTQB). DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
