We have an exciting opportunity for an early in career professional to join the Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors team within the Advanced Technology (AT) SBU. As a key member of the finance team, you will help be responsible for performing detailed financial analysis to help define and understand monthly variances to budget and the EAC position along with support to the FP&A team. This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and candidates are expected to be within a commutable distance to Tewksbury, MA. What You Will Do Provide lead finance support to successfully satisfy programmatic and financial organization goals for a portfolio of programs.
Participate in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and perform financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Ensure program costs are collected correctly by maintaining active charge numbers and IOTs, monitoring actual charges, and processing transfers when appropriate.
Monitor funding status providing reliable and timely notification of funding status with line-item detail.
Prepare financial Contract Data Requirements (CDRL) for programs with focus on accuracy and on time delivery.
Review and approve invoices for submission to customer . Monitor billing status and unbilled issues, work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Carefully monitor program revenue and profit recognition to minimize risk to the organization . Analyze revenue and profit risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Lead the effort to complete quarterly Estimate-At-Complete for assigned programs.
Provide ad-hoc assistance, analysis and reporting as requested by key team members and others.
You will need to utilize your proactive leadership skills to effectively manage tight deadlines as well as multitask across a variety of programs and work with all levels of the organization .
You will develop and sustain effective relationships with the program office, functions, and Advanced Technology leadership team .
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Experience with SAP accounting system / Standard Business Warehouse reports and/or similar reports.
U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer Ability to interface effectively with Program Management team and other functional organizations to drive program financial implementation , EACs, and Earned Value Management .
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), including program controls or Operations Finance.
Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision -making skills.
Ability to perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and reconciliations
Self-starting, motivated individual with excellent written and oral communication skills .
Proficient using SAP, PMX, BW, EDIT+.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight and prioritize workload.
Detailed understanding of key financial metrics.
Ability to frame and interpret issues for Administration .
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
