Responsibilities to Anticipate: Concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-down Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design Algorithm optimization, research and development; trade studies to bring new, advanced features to fielded system Functional analysis of real world and test data Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field. In absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required. In absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required. Ability to obtain security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Value: Advanced degree in Aerospace, EE, Physics, Applied Math Knowledge of radar systems (for example - Patriot System) Experience with both broad, large-scale data analysis and focused root-cause analysis Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Experience with design of system level architecture Experience with signal processing techniques, system control Knowledge of Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection Techniques Experience in requirements development Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues Familiarity with MATLAB, DOORS, and MS Office Existing DoD Security Clearance What We Offer Whether you're just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package with compensation; healthcare, wellness, retirement and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs. The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
