Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented scientist with expertise in antibody discovery, engineering, and characterization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Antibodies, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in discovering and optimizing therapeutic antibodies. This is a primarily lab-based position, with opportunities to collaborate on project teams, interact with CRO partners, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, and screen antibody libraries to identify or optimize antibodies with desired properties.
  • Conduct biophysical characterization of antibodies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Biology group to accelerate program advancement.
  • Present and communicate research findings in group and project meetings.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of experimental work in electronic lab notebooks.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • BS with 5+ years, MS with 3+ years, or PhD in a relevant field (title will be based on experience).
  • Proven hands-on experience with yeast display and/or phage display.
  • Expertise in antibody affinity maturation, humanization, and related techniques.
  • Skilled in antibody biophysical characterization methods such as ELISA, binding kinetics (Octet/SPR), flow cytometry, DSF, and more.
  • Experience with alternative antibody formats like single-domain or bispecific antibodies is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic antibody development.
  • Ability to work independently, designing, executing, and troubleshooting experiments with minimal supervision.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
