Position Summary
The Supervisor, Logistics & Warehouse is responsible for planning, leading, organizing and controlling all aspects of Warehousing, Stockroom Operations, Shipping, and Receiving in a manufacturing environment.

The selected individual will have strong and positive leadership skills and the ability to train and develop people. Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to use organizational agility to accomplish the goals of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring that all personnel follow established safety rules and procedures
  • Develop, evaluate, implement, update and manage to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support all aspects of the operation
  • Develop, implement, and manage to cross training plans to ensure that labor can flex per the needs of the business and increase departmental efficiency
  • Responsible for the cycle counting process including daily counts and reconciliation of discrepancies as necessary. Drive initiatives that maintain 100% inventory accuracy
  • Partner with Master Scheduler, Planning, and Purchasing teams to ensure kitting schedules are fulfilled and kits are accurate prior to releasing to production
  • Responsible for managing all logistics in the shipping process to ensure timely pickup and delivery while minimizing costs
  • Review daily outbound shipment requirements and ensure product is shipped in a timely manner that supports customer on time delivery
  • Review scheduled inbound receipts and ensure appropriate staffing to maintain same day processing of all receipts
  • Develop, implement, and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive the team to best in class performance

Knowledge Skills & Abilities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
  • Competent in ERP system use
  • Competent in written and verbal communications
  • Demonstrate Attention to detail
  • Personal Industrial Vehicle operation
  • Superior interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience Required:
  • BA or BS in Transportation, logistics or Business required
  • Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
  • ERP/MRP experience, IFS preferred
