Onsite At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling - to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon is seeking an Associate Director of Customer Mission Solutions (CMS), which is a mission-focused customer engagement approach that harnesses the full power of RTX to solve our customers' most difficult challenges in today's evolving, multi-domain threat environment. The Associate Director will work across the RAY Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and functions, and with Collins Aerospace (CA) and Pratt & Whitney (P&W), to develop mission architectures and time-phased capability roadmaps to meet our customers' mission needs, based on their observed and evolving threats. This position will align capture messaging around common customer missions, across all captures that impact each mission. This will require collaborating across the business and its functions, including Requirements and Capabilities, Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain, Legal, Contracts and Compliance, Systems, Strategy and Global Operations, and others. The successful candidate will have a record of success in leading with influence, building support, motivating others, promoting teamwork, fostering open communication, establishing trust, and showing adaptability. As part of the Requirements and Capabilities (R&C) team, you will be an integral part of helping Raytheon further our vision to be the global leader in core and next-generation weapon and security solutions. By any measure, RTX is an exciting and rewarding place to work. We pride ourselves on developing world-class talent in an inclusive atmosphere. The result is a workforce that takes pride in the company and consistently delivers superior solutions. What You Will Do Work across the RAY SBUs and functions to lead the development of CMS architectures, time-phased capability roadmaps, and high-level capture strategies and talking points
Coordinate across SBU R&C teams on all captures associated with their CMS(s)
Deconflict between similar/overlapping SBU equities with consideration for strategic, technical, and business interests
Support customer engagements by providing content and leading discussions
Serve as a conduit to Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney on cross-RTX efforts
Employ a OneRTX approach to new business development and capture
Act as a Capture Manager on one or more of the captures associated with their CMS(s)

Possible work locations: MA - Woburn, Tewksbury, Andover; VA - Arlington; AZ - Tucson; TX - McKinney; AL - Huntsville; CO - Aurora; FL - Orlando; CA - El Segundo
Qualifications You Must Have A University Degree and minimum 12 years' relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 10 years' experience
Experience leading system-of-systems, capability-focused projects and leading by influence across broad organizations
Minimum 3 years' experience working captures within one SBU or business area, and minimum 1 year of experience working captures in additional SBUs (or cross-business area/cross-SBU captures)
Experience communicating strategic concepts to executive-level leadership and to external customers
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer Relationships/experience with U.S. Combatant Commands (COCOMs), acquisition agencies, and international customers
