Job description

Our client in the Marketing/Communications industry is seeking a Localization Operations Project Manager to join their team. As a Localization Operations Project Manager, you will be part of the Marketing Division supporting the Localization Manager. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team environment and have excellent functional knowledge of publishing software(s), experience with translation management systems, translation memory, terminology, and strong analytic, quantitative, and critical thinking skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Localization Operations Project Manager

Location: Ada, MI (Hybrid)

Pay Range: Based on experience

What's the Job?

  • Responsible for internal operational procedures required to complete and deliver translation projects (in five additional languages) that accurately reflect messaging, content, and communications needs in a variety of media types for the North American markets.
  • Create and deliver translation projects from prioritization to scheduling, file analysis/preparation, task assignments, and delivery.
  • Act as the principal contact for internal localization team staff, internal clients, and external LSPs and agencies.

What's Needed?

  • 2+ years of experience in a localization project management services position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Localization, Marketing, Business, or related field (Advanced Computing skills).
  • Experience with Translation Management Systems, Translation Memory, Terminology, Machine Translation (preferably RWS WorldServer and Studio Pro).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
