The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who provides direct and indirect care for a group of patients for a designated time frame for some or all age population as described below. The nursing process is the basis for care and includes assessment of biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning factors. Planning and prescribing nursing interventions, implementing them and evaluating care rendered completes the nursing process. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's age and status and interpret the appropriate information needed to prescribe and provide care as described in the unit and hospital policies and procedures.

A skills checklist completed within one year of
application for RN specialties is required. All other professions
outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
Michigan license verification is required for nurses.

the traveler's best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for
the manager's review.
Physical copies of certifications are only required in
the profile if listed above.
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for
contract hire within six months of employment.
