Race Event Worker - $19.50 per hour

It's Race time again. Our client is looking for staffing for their event for Friday, Friday, Sept 20th. Paid Volunteers needed.

Pays $19.50/hour.
Friday, 9/20:

• Platt River Campground, Honor MI: 3 people needed. 11:30AM - 3:30PM
• St. Ambrose Cellars, Honor MI: 6 people needed. 8:00 AM - 4:15PM
• Mills Community House, Benzonia MI: 3 people needed. 9:30AM - 4:30PM
• Boat Launch Ramp, Frankfort, MI: 4 people needed, 11:00AM - 5:30PM
• Blain Christian Church, Arcadia, MI: 6 people needed. 12PM - 6:15PM
• Arcadia Lookout, Arcadia, MI: 6 people needed. 2:45PM - 8:45PM
• Per Clin Orchards, Bear Lake, MI: 3 people needed. 2:45PM - 8:45PM

Saturday, 9/21:

• Claybanks Township Park, Era, MI: 6 people needed. Saturday 3:45AM - 12:15PM

Shift Duties Will Include:
Check runners into race.
Help runners' cross railway track safely and legally. Hold the runners and not allow them to cross the tracks while the gate is lowering/raising or in the down position.
Enforcing Safety Standards: Be sure you are familiar with our Safety Standards. Cheer for runners (ok, so this isn't strictly required, but it's really nice!)
Cooperatively manage the following tasks:
Record first and last team arrival times, manage traffic flow (runners and vans), keep parking organized, restock supplies and keep the exchange area free of litter.
Note: During set up and clean up, lifting is required, and volunteers for this shift must be able to lift 20-30lbs.
