Job description

Job Title: AP Vendor Manager
Location: East Lansing, MI
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000.
Schedule: M-F 8:30a - 4:30a & hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days).

AP Vendor Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Data Entry: Input approximately 120 invoices per month per community into Sage 50 (transitioning to NetSuite for automation).

  2. Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors to resolve inquiries and discrepancies promptly.

  3. Forecasting: Analyze accounts payable data to forecast monthly expenses and maintain budgeting.

  4. Bill Processing: Enter bills into Sage 50, trigger payments, and manage check printing and mailing.

AP Vendor Manager Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Invoice coding and bill entry experience
  • Proficiency in accounting calendar management
  • 2-3 years of high-volume AP experience
  • Strong vendor communication skills

Preferred:

  • Healthcare or nonprofit background
  • Familiarity with Sage 50 or NetSuite
  • Degree in Accounting or related field
