IHM, SLC offers a sign on bonus of $3,750 for positions scheduled 60 hours or more per pay period!
Be a part of the IHM Senior Living Community! We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in our 5-star healthcare facility in Monroe. We are taking resumes from candidates that share our values and mission in our skilled nursing facility.
Schedule available includes working every other weekend and every other holiday:
- 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (72 hours per pay period).

Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse evaluates, documents, directs and provides nursing care. Communicates status changes to family members or responsible party. Informs manager and medical provider of changes or needs. Encourage and lead nursing staff to coordinate care for the residents. Handles medication administration and treatments. Performs all duties consistent with Quality Standards and Infection Control practices. Performs all job functions within State and Federal Regulations.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an approved nursing program for Licensed Practical Nursing
- Current LPN licensure in Michigan in good standing
- Experience as a Charge Nurse preferred but not required.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests, & abilities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- Proven history of good judgment and integrity
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
