Job Description for the Controller role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations. Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the company.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for management and stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor financial plans and budgets.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee audits and tax filings.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Preferred Experience for the Controller:

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with financial management and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

Location: 100% onsite in Niles, MI

Annual Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 (salary range is indicative and may vary based on experience and qualifications)
