Job description

The Heart and Vascular Center at McLaren Northern Michigan is recruiting an Interventional Cardiologist to join a team of innovative specialists in Petoskey, Michigan. Enjoy working with a dedicated group of Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Cardiothoracic Surgeons in a tertiary setting. Practice in a collegial environment with a progressive group that strives to be the best in their profession. The ideal candidate will have a primary focus on coronary and peripheral interventions and must be board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology. There is a shared call rotation of 1:4. Candidates with Structural experience or who have successfully completed a Structural fellowship will be strongly considered.

The Heart and Vascular specialists are actively engaged in on-site research and clinical trials while serving an expansive geographic area of northern Michigan.

Additional Features Include:

• An evolving structural heart program including minimally invasive procedures such as TAVR, Mitraclip and the Watchman.
• Advanced electrophysiology treatment options including cardiac ablations, arrhythmia device implantation, laser lead extraction, left atrial appendage occlusion procedures and medication therapy.
• Innovative diagnostic techniques & advanced 3-D imaging modalities including mobile diagnostics available at outreach locations.
