Are you passionate about providing compassionate care and support to patients? Covenant HealthCare is currently seeking dedicated and professional Nursing Care Assistants (NCAs) to join our team. Positions are available on a variety of shifts, with both full-time benefited and part-time benefited opportunities.

About the Role
As a Nursing Care Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide essential care and support to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort. You will play a vital role in the patient experience by delivering excellent customer service and upholding the values and standards of Covenant HealthCare.

Key Responsibilities
Support patient flow and follow unit and service policies.
Provide care in various inpatient units with flexible scheduling.
Perform basic patient care tasks, including taking vital signs, assisting with feeding, collecting specimens, and supporting daily hygiene.
Communicate with patients and families professionally and compassionately.
Participate in safety checks, ambulate and position patients, and assist in patient activities.
Document patient care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
Participate in quality management, infection control, and patient safety activities.

Requirements
High School Diploma required.
Completion of a CNA course, or 1 semester of Nursing Clinicals, or 1 year of CNA/Aide experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or within 60 days of hire).
Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Work Environment
Regular physical demands, including standing, walking, and lifting.
Ability to work tactfully in fast-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
