Summary: CEF is in search of a senior attorney who has a demonstrated competency in all aspects of litigation from initial analysis to expert discovery and trial. Candidates should have a desire for a multidimensional practice that includes the representation of corporate and business entities and individuals in personal and property liability matters. Candidates who are polished and exude confidence and professional acumen will be given preference. The open position will require the attorney to have the ability to engage in written and oral communication with other professionals. If you are enthusiastic about intellectually challenging work, a diverse case docket and growth opportunities, you may be a good fit for this position. We will prioritize candidates who have experience in insurance contract interpretation, catastrophic general liability and/or professional liability.

Legal development- We afford all attorneys the opportunity to participate in in-house skill development sessions as well as to identify opportunities to attend legal education conferences and seminars. Our attorneys are members of DRI, Claims Legal Management, Professional Liability Defense Federation, American Bar Association, The Wolverine Bar Association and many other organizations that provide programing focused on attorney skill development and networking.

A generous benefit package is offered. Salaries are set based on level of relevant experience as well as your apparent capacity to be productive and make immediate contributions to our practice groups. There is no cap on salary for a qualified candidate.
