Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.
The Operations Officer shall provide leadership in planning and executing operations, identifying priority actions, and assigning responsibilities. This role involves coordinating operations within the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC), responding to higher headquarters' orders, and delivering briefings and recommendations to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Plan current, future, and other operations.
- Develop innovative solutions and mid-range plans for current and emerging operations and requirements.
- Prepare, formulate, coordinate, and staff a wide variety of operational correspondence, reports, messages, studies, and staff papers as required.
- Establishes and maintains direct liaison activities and coordination with key military leaders, staff, and partners to ensure requirements are successfully processed and satisfied.
- Provide support to planning and execution of visitors (0-6 and below).
- Provide support to conference management, both DoD and non-DoD Conference requests.
- Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
- Complete the timesheet daily in the online system according to company policies and procedures.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of developing US Military orders and requests for information.
- US Army preferred
- 3+ years of experience providing information analysis and recommendations.
- Secret clearance required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have the ability to maintain a Secret clearance throughout the lifecycle of the contract.
- Plan and execute operations ensuring the determination of priority actions.
- Identify specified and implied tasks, assigning roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct In Progress Reviews (IPRs) and overseeing execution.
- Coordinates, staffs, and oversees execution of a variety of operations.
- Provide a cohesive and accurate execution of assigned tasks.
- Determine commander's intent to develop mission statement and course of action in support of operations.
- Responds to tasks from higher headquarters in the form of warning orders (WARNO), operation orders (OPORD), fragmentary orders (FRAGO), tasks, and Requests for Information (RFI).
- Staff tasks, track responses, and report outcomes.
- Provide information, analyses and recommendations to leadership for actions and decisions.
- Provide mission briefs to staff and leadership.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
- Possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
- Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
