Inontime is looking for an experienced level 2 or 3 Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic that will have a large impact on the accuracy and efficiency of fleet vehicle repairs. This 3rd shift position has the potential to move into management in leading this shift. The hours for this position begin at 9pm and end approximately 5:30am or 6am.

Level 2/3 Mechanics will need: Must have Michigan and or ASE Certifications having done engine component work

  • Michigan and or ASE Certifications having done engine component work
  • 2 year of diesel mechanic components experience and heavy equipment repair preferred
  • Verbal communication that is effective and positive
  • Ability to work on a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, mechanical systems and other systems
  • Complete all service and repairs in accordance with shop standards and DOT requirements
  • Follow company procedures related to paperwork for parts, service and time.
  • CDL-A license or the willingness to obtain a CDL-A license through the company
  • Make roadside service calls as needed.
  • Ability to drive/move equipment in the yard or on the road.
  • Other requirements assigned by the Fleet Service Supervisor.
  • Preference given to those with previous supervisor experience.
