Overview Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $16.75 to $23.00 per hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experiences. We are looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant II to join our team! This role supports the planning and implementation of quality leisure/social events programs designed to assist senior Assisted Living residents in maintaining their personal potential physically, socially, and mentally. 33 hours every 2 weeks Day/Evening hours Every other weekend and holidays Partial Benefits: (Paid Time Off, Matching Retirement monies, Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access!) Arbors at Ridges Assisted Living is located on the Ebenezer Ridges Burnsville Campus near Fairview Ridges Hospital. Arbors at Ridges offers 62 breathtaking apartments. Responsibilities/Job Description Coordinates leisure programs, activities, exercise classes, and special events for older adults in an assisted living residence Drives Ebenezer van for resident outings Encourages resident participation, and reports changes in residents' mood and physical status Promotes independence and helps develop socialization Other duties as assigned by Life Enrichment Director Qualifications Required Skills: Solid understanding of basic Microsoft/ computer programs Ability to interact effectively and compassionately with senior living residents/tenants Must have good communication and social skills Must be comfortable leading activities with older residents Current drivers license in good standing Preferred Skills: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but willing to consider others with the right skills and/or previous related work experience One to three years previous experience either; working with older adults, leading activities, or working in a therapy or recreation role preferred or having formal related education Preference is given to candidates with previous experience with memory loss care
