Job description

Seeking a full-time Podiatrist to join an established practice the beautiful lakes country of west-central Minnesota.

• Non-surgical role
• Work alongside a Podiatrist Surgeon, 6 Orthopedic providers, and Sports Medicine
• Full-time position primarily in west-central MN, with potential for occasional outreach to additional internal facilities
• 36 patient contact hours/week requirement
• Conduct physical examinations of patients feet, ankles, and lower legs.
  
• Diagnose conditions such as arch problems, bunions, corns, hammertoes, warts, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, ulcers, and cysts.
  
• Provide non-surgical treatments, including prescribing medications, orthotics, and physical therapy.
  
• Manage chronic conditions like diabetes-related foot issues through preventative care and routine checkups.
  
• Educate patients on proper foot care and preventative measure to avoid future problems.
• Advise on footwear and lifestyle changes to improve foot health.
• Refer patients to surgeons or other specialists when surgical intervention is necessary.
• Minor office-based clinic procedures include: ingrown toenail removals ganglion cyst aspirations, wound debridement; joint/neuroma/plantar fascia injections, cryotherapy, and punch biopsies

Compensation and benefits:

• Base compensation salary is guaranteed for the first 2 years of employment, plus the opportunity to earn additional income based on production volumes.
