As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day accounting operations, including the maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This Senior Accountant will also work closely with our private equity partners and external auditors to ensure that financial statements are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Performing monthly account reconciliations and analysis
  • Preparing monthly sales and use tax returns and quarterly payroll tax returns
  • Assisting with annual budget preparation and forecasting
  • Coordinating annual external audits and managing relationships with auditors
  • Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Providing guidance and support to the accounting team and other departments on accounting-related matters

The ideal Senior Accountant candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a senior accounting role
  • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Experience in the construction industry and with job costing preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple priorities

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with a strong financial backing and a bright future! If you are a highly motivated, results-driven Senior Accountant who is passionate about accounting and the construction industry, we would love to hear from you.
