Job description

Summary:

The role of the Administrative Assistant is to support operations staff by generating and proof reading letters, generating and maintaining reports in Excel, and review accounts in a system queue to redirect to staff for follow-up.


Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Proof reading letters to ensure details were filled out correctly and the account is properly statused
  • Running daily production reports in Excel and publishing them to user groups
  • Working a queue of tasks which need to be routed to users based on criteria
  • Handle requests for information and data

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Two (2) years post-secondary education preferred or comparable combination of education and experience

Competencies:

  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills including familiarity with pivot tables and Vlookup formulas
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • All candidates must also be able to pass a drug and background screen


Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hand, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.
