The Good Eating Company is seeking a Director of Catering and Sales in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This Director of Catering and Sales will lead the special events, catering department, and all sales outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong background in event planning and management, excellent communication, a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences, and a strong drive to grow all sales and revenue streams. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring they meet client expectations
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements
  • Work with the culinary team to ensure delivery of the menu
  • Prepare and manage budgets for each event
  • Monitor expenses and find cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality of service
  • Hire, train, and supervise event staff
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and customer feedback, to make data-driven decisions and improvements

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

  • Event planning and execution
  • Proven track record managing budgets
  • Managing a team
  • Analyzing and tracking reports
  • Solving problems through innovation and industry/market trends
  • Diplomatic skills to work with customer and clients from around the world

The Good Eating Company was cooked up in London in 1999 around the kitchen table, over several bottles of Ribera del Duero. Qualifications & Requirements:

B asic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years o f experience in catering, food production, or food service management or a related field
