Overnight Behavioral Technician (Asleep Position)

Role: Overnight Behavioral Technician (Asleep Position)
Location: Brooklyn Park
Schedule: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM, Wednesday - Tuesday every other week (7 days on, 7 days off)
Hours: 56 hours per 2-week pay period (opportunities to pick up additional shifts available)

Compensation:

$12/hour during sleep hours
$19-25/hour during awake periods (rate based on experience and qualifications)
Most of your shift will be spent sleeping in our comfortable overnight accommodations
Active duties typically include morning routines with residents (6:00-8:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

Sleep on-site to ensure 24-hour coverage for our residents
Respond to emergency situations if they arise (paid at awake rate)
Assist clients with morning routines
Implement behavior support strategies during awake periods
Document any overnight occurrences
Maintain a safe and secure environment

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals exhibiting severe challenging behaviors.
Education in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field preferred.
Experience in crisis prevention and intervention techniques (e.g., CPI, MANDT, or similar certifications).
Proven expertise in implementing advanced behavioral support strategies and data-based decision making.
Experience with severe self-injurious behaviors, aggression, and complex cases requiring 2:1 staffing.
Strong skills in Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plan development.
Proficiency in various data collection methods and behavioral data analysis.
Thorough understanding of ethical considerations and rights restrictions in behavioral interventions.
In-depth knowledge of MN Statute 245D and regulations applicable to HCBS.
Ability to pass an extensive background check from the MN Department of Human Services.
Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record.
Flexibility to work in various settings and adapt to changing client needs.
