Job description

National Dizzy and Balance Center is hiring at all of our clinic locations - However, our current immediate need is: Bloomington & Burnsville.

We are seeking a physical therapist who is interested in a specialty clinic. At National Dizzy and Balance Center we treat patients with vestibular disorders and concussions with an emphasis on vestibular and musculoskeletal deficits. As we continue to grow in the Twin Cities area, we are in search of a therapist who values their work environment, wants to be part of a truly cohesive team, and wants opportunity to grow in their career! National Dizzy and Balance Center (NDBC) prides itself in dedication to research, maintaining a high level of care and treating the whole patient.

With the specialty nature of our patient population, we provide all new staff with a thorough training program to ensure their skills are equal to those who have been working for us for years. The NDBC rehab team continues to advance their knowledge with keeping up to date on research in all of our clinical practice areas to ensure high quality care for our patients.

National Dizzy and Balance Center is a unique outpatient clinic system serving not only the Twin Cities, but the entire state of MN. Recently, NDBC therapists are also offering rehab to neighboring states via telerehab! We currently utilize physicians, physician assistants, audiologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists within each of our four Twin Cities clinic locations to offer a true multidisciplinary approach. We are in business to improve our patients' quality of life, not just provide a medical service. This commitment to excellence, and the development of patient relationships, is what will make NDBC the standard for comparison in this field.

Our physical therapists work with our medical doctors, occupational therapists and audiologists in evaluation and treatment of our patients. After a comprehensive workup that includes state of the art diagnostic testing, computerized dynamic posturography, and evidence based evaluations, the PT will implement treatment to return patients to the quality of life they deserve!

NDBC offers comprehensive benefits including those listed below. There is also an opportunity for biannual bonuses. Compensation is based on experience.

Qualifications

Experience in a vestibular or orthopedic setting is preferred, but even if you don't have prior experience with vestibular patients, we provide our employees the training and mentorship that they need to become expert clinicians in treating dizziness and balance disorders.

Due to the multifactorial nature of many of our concussion patients, orthopedic experience, particularly in treating spine, is preferred but not required.

Licensed as a Physical Therapist and eligible to practice in Minnesota is required. Licenses in additional state are a plus.
