Job Summary:
The Test Manager and Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing the test engineering department, managing customer relationships, and driving the promotion and growth of our joint venture. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, business development skills, and profit and loss (P&L) management to ensure the highest quality in our semiconductor products and to foster strong partnerships with our clients. The position will involve working in an international environment with potential travel to Europe and assisting the sales team with presales activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the test engineering team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and test cases for semiconductor devices.
Oversee the development and optimization of automated test setups and test scripts.
Ensure rigorous analysis of test data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with design, process, and product engineering teams to define test requirements and specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
Manage technical support for production testing and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing.
Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Promote the joint venture through various channels, highlighting its strengths and capabilities.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Stay current with advancements in semiconductor testing methodologies and equipment.
Develop and manage the departments budget, resources, and schedules.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in semiconductor testing or a similar field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test systems.
Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and testing methodologies.
Experience with test software development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
Expertise in CAD system schematic and layout (routing).
Familiarity with industry-standard equipment such as Prober, handler, and ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), including platforms like 93K, DiamondX, and Exascale.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proven track record in managing customer relationships and promoting business ventures.

Experience in managing profit and loss (P&L) for a department or business unit.
