Senior Software Development Engineers build code by using core agile practices such as "keep it simple," test driven development (TDD), continuous integration, polyglot programming, and microservice design. A SDE focuses on developing and implementing modernized specialized business applications, deploying to development, test, staging, and production. The Senior Software Development Engineer - TechOps will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing software within the TTS suite of applications. The Software Development Engineer must have a strong understanding of user and process requirements and the ability to ensure those requirements can be achieved through quality deliverables. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Troubleshoot and resolve problems from the development phase through the production phase, which requires being on call for production support. Implement best practices around Service Reliability Engineering. Configure services, such as databases and monitoring. Develop delivery pipelines and automated deployment scripts. Develop automated test cases. Own quality posture. Align to Security/Compliance frameworks and controls requirements. Collaborate with the technical teams, business teams, and product managers to design solutions that meet functional and technical requirements. Assisting in the design, implementation and optimization of related approaches, tools and workflows. Designing, prototyping and demonstrating new features and components of front-end and back-end to users to ensure compliance with requirements. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor's Information Systems, Computer Science with 6-10 years of IT experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training. Expertise in Java backend, frontend, node.js and related framework and tools and tools, relational and noSQL DBs, Linux/Unix, Shell Scripting. Expertise and experience in C++ would be a bonus. Experience in Web application frameworks and API technologies like JQuery, AngularJS, Swagger, JSP, Springboot. Experience in Containers, Kubernetes, Docker and frameworks like OpenShift. Experience in AWS technologies including serverless Experience with EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, PostGres, RDS, VPC, Subnets, Route53 etc Experience in GIT and DevOps technologies like Tekton and AWS Code pipeline. Experience with test automation and TDD Build, implement and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines to achieve the automation of software delivery. Expertise in Java backend and related framework and tools mainly spring, java 11, quarkus Experience with EC2, Lambda, Postgres, RDS, VPC, Subnets, Route53 etc,S3 Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
