Job Details

This is a permanent position that will play a crucial role in the financial management of our firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with senior leadership on all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, managing the month-end close process, and providing insightful financial analysis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our firm's financial strategy and make a significant impact on our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
  • Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
  • Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
