Accounts Receivable Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee and manage the accounts receivable department of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the timely and accurate billing and collection of customer accounts
- Review and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions
- Manage customer inquiries and disputes, working closely with internal departments and external customers to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts and taking appropriate action to collect outstanding balances
- Analyze and report on accounts receivable data, including cash flow projections, bad debt reserves, and collection trends
- Coordinate with the credit department to establish credit limits and payment terms for new and existing customers
- Supervise and train accounts receivable staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and regulatory standards
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of accounts receivable and related activities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Work Model:
The work model is hybrid, so there is an in-office work component.

Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 annual salary
