Administrative Assistant
Woodbury, MN

Our client is a non-profit, specializing in youth program development and creating experiences for Minnesota youth

They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their Youth Program Manager and Executive Director in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills
This role requires a commitment to the organization's values and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with efficiency and discretion

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, including managing their schedule, arranging meetings, and coordinating travel

- Serve as a primary point of contact between the Executive Director and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-ups

- Draft, edit, and proofread communications, reports, presentations, and other documents as needed

- Assist with planning and coordinating organizational events, meetings, and board activities

- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information

- Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and ensure action items are tracked and completed

- Support the Executive Director in strategic initiatives and special projects

- Conduct research and gather relevant information to assist in decision-making processes

- Manage and prioritize incoming requests and correspondence, filtering and handling inquiries as appropriate

- Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in administration, business, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing executive-level support, preferably in a non-profit or mission-driven organization

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using project management and communication tools

- Ability to handle multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and work independently with minimal supervision

- A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information

Work Model:
This position requires multiple days in office per week, but there are opportunities for hybrid work days (1-2 per week).

Compensation:
$47,000 - $63,000/year based on experience.
