Overview:

We're looking for an individual who is positive and enthusiastic - who enjoys a fast pace with high volume processing. This individual will develop an in-depth understanding of both the Financial Institution and Employer markets including the products they offer. An ideal candidate is a quick learner who adapts to new systems or procedures and is able to apply this information effectively during problem resolution as well as know when to seek assistance.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Enter required data with a high degree of accuracy. This will include a variety of form types or electronic files such as but not limited to beneficiaries, personal information changes, and coverage verifications.
• Prepare and manage customer correspondence including, but not limited to creating customer letters, emails, spreadsheets.
• Edit, proof and quality check documents prepared within work team and for other teams within Affinity Customer Service.

Qualifications:

• Strong data entry skills which include speed and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail with ability to apply good judgement to situations.
• Strong customer focus on both internal and external customers.
• Ability to prioritize, manage time and rapidly change focus as determined by business need.
• Willingness to suggest new ideas, processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work overtime during peak volumes.

Physical job requirements:

• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$15.39 - $27.16

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
