HR Coordinator
St. Paul, MN - onsite
6 month Contract to Hire - 43K - 65K DOE
$26 - $32/hour while on contract

Position Overview:


This position reports to the CFO and is responsible for managing all Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. Additionally, this role coordinates recruiting efforts through online platforms and external recruitment agencies.



Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Develop and update job descriptions for new and replacement hires.
  • Collaborate with external recruiting sources (e.g., job boards, contracting agencies) to find candidates.
  • Assist with candidate identification, selection, and interviews.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of the hiring process, including pre-boarding and onboarding (e.g., contracts, screening, HR system updates).
  • Provide ongoing support to new hires, answering questions and sharing relevant materials.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle general HR administration and coordination.
  • Respond to internal and external HR inquiries.
  • Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records.
  • Support IT coordination for new hire equipment setup.
  • Manage onboarding and termination processes.
  • Schedule meetings, events, and interviews.
  • Assist in planning and organizing employee events.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook.
  • Work with hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules.

Performance Management:

  • Prepare materials for performance reviews.
  • Support the performance management process.
  • Organize and facilitate performance evaluations.

Employee Benefits:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits-related questions.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and outsourced benefits providers (e.g., Insperity).
  • Administer health and welfare plans and ensure benefits are tracked and enhanced over time.
  • Reconcile benefits statements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • Self-starter with a motivated, results-driven approach.
  • Several years of HR experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with outsourced HR/benefits providers (e.g., Insperity).
  • Experience recruiting for engineering and technical roles.
