Job description

Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II in Maplewood, MN, with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will perform chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Tech II you will:

• Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
• Work with moderate work direction and identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
• Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required.

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line are required.
• Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.

Pay Rate: $25.34 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
