MHR is looking for a licensed LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC to join our Mental Health Outreach Clinic (MHOC) as an independent contractor. Therapists provide counseling to adults living with serious mental illness in their preferred environment. Many individuals also experience co-occurring substance abuse concerns, complex physical health issues, and the profound effects of trauma on their overall well-being. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Therapists conduct diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual, couples, and family therapy in the Twin Cities metro area.
  • Therapy services are provided either in the person's home or by telehealth. There will be a combination of both meeting options on the caseload.
  • Minimum of 10 clients on caseload.

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology or human services related field.
    • Licensed as LICSW, LPCC, LP, or LMFT in the State of Minnesota.
  • 2 years post licensure experience in providing therapy services.
  • Skilled in the process of identifying and assessing individuals with SMI; conducting diagnostic assessments, developing individual treatment plans, providing evidenced-based treatment strategies, and record keeping as per DHS standards.
