Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting all functions related to meeting support within the IMU, making sure no detail is overlooked. With nearly 100 years of special event experience, about 50,000 square feet of meeting space, and almost 30 venue spaces to choose from, the IMU hosts thousands of events each year.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Assists with the set of function rooms for meetings, catering, and conferences.
  • Moves tables, chairs, staging, sound and AV equipment, computer equipment, etc.
  • Remains in direct contact with clients.

Working Conditions / Demands

This is a physically active position requiring mobility. Must have the ability to move and transfer equipment. This position requires the ability to regularly move and transport objects and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
