Are you dedicated to supporting individuals with mental illness in achieving their fullest potential? Do you excel in creating safe and inclusive environments? Are you enthusiastic about the opportunity to develop programs? If you possess supervisory or management experience and are looking for a new challenge, Vail Communities has an exciting opportunity for you. The agency has launched our third Clubhouse Program in Ramsey County and are in search of a proactive, organized, and community-focused Manager to develop, lead and manage daily operations of this new location.

Who are we?

The Clubhouse Program at Vail Communities is a community for adults with serious mental illness, serving as a single point of access and coordination based on the Clubhouse Model. We have been serving the Twin Cities for over 40 years! Guided by our mission and core values, we offer purpose, direction, and hope. Check out this VIDEO that was made to showcase our Clubhouses.

We believe connecting to a community is not only a basic human need - it's a prerequisite for mental health. People living with SMI need a holistic approach to treatment that addresses social symptoms, as well as psychosocial needs such as employment, housing, and skills development. Our treatment approach, known as social practice - based on the Clubhouse Model pioneered by Fountain House New York City and implemented in Clubhouses worldwide - is designed to do just that. This LINK will help you learn more about Clubhouse International.

Mental illness affects individuals of all backgrounds and identities. We aim to establish a community that values inclusivity, safety, and the importance of every voice. We want to ensure that the decisions we make for our organization, both now and in the future, reflect the opinions and choices of our staff and those we serve.

What do we offer?

Our employees are the best part of Vail. We are pleased to provide a collaborative work environment with excellent rewards and benefits. In addition to our core benefits package, you will receive free and low-cost ancillary health services for you and your family. We offer superior work-life balance by providing generous paid time off starting at three weeks per calendar year, 13 company-paid holidays, three personal days, and safe and sick time allowances. Additional offerings include paid training and CEU opportunities, company-issued laptops, and an Employee Assistance Program to support employees and their families.

What will you do?

The Manager of the Ramsey County Clubhouse will gain extensive expertise in the Clubhouse Model and Clubhouse International Standards while supporting the Director in guiding a team focused on the Clubhouse's development and achievements. This role will foster a supportive environment for social engagement, oversee Clubhouse staff, ensure efficient data management and recordkeeping, and devise innovative approaches for both members and staff in various areas. The Manager of Clubhouse Programs will collaborate closely with staff and members to identify their skills and strengths, promoting recovery through engaging activities.

  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience; experience in Clubhouse strongly desired
  • At least one year of formal or informal people leadership required
