Job description

Position Title: Woodbury - Juut Salon and Retail Store Associate

Supervisor: Salon Manager

Hours:

Sunday: Woodbury Store 10:45-5

Tuesday-Friday: Woodbury Salon 9:30am-8:30pm shift varies

Saturday: Woodbury Salon/Store: 9:30-5:30pm (not every Saturday needed but at times may need to fill a Saturday periodically.)


Summary:

The main responsibilities of the Retail Store Associate is to represent Juut and Aveda product lines in our Woodbury Retail Store location. They will also live and demonstrate the Juut Guiding Principles and Beliefs, utilize these in the performance of their job, and will be a Daymaker in every moment.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

Daymaking

General Requirements

  • Keeping fixtures stocked with merchandise, maintaining overall store cleanliness.
  • Ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
  • Contributing to an inclusive environment that supports internal and external guests served.
  • Completing merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays.
  • Ensuring assigned work area is replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
  • Maintaining outstanding store standards and overall store cleanliness including salesfloor, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
  • Ensuring compliance by being knowledgeable of Juuts policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Helping eliminate and/or reduce potential theft of product by providing exceptional guest service and maintaining awareness while on the sales floor.
  • Cross-promote with the Woodbury Lakes location for services.
  • Executing other operational tasks as directed.

Guest Service

  • Ensure that guests are happy with their experience and service.
  • Instill in all employees the meaning and importance of guest service by acting as a positive role model.
  • Create back-up plans to address guests needs in the event of the unexpected.

Facility

  • Represent Juut in a positive light at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Outstanding customer service skills (written and verbal).
