If so, PDS Tech Commercial has an exciting opportunity for you as a Robotic Soldering Technician in Maple Grove MN!

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out solder assignments to fabricate parts or components, using basic hand tools, specialized fasteners, soldering irons, and measuring devices.

- Following written work instructions, process sheets, and drawings meticulously.

- Performing hand soldering operations on Through Hole, SMT, or Flex products while using scopes, and undertaking preparatory tasks such as wire cutting, stripping, twisting, tinning, and soldering.

- Conducting parts cleaning and manual component placement during production, employing methods like in-line clean, hand clean, or vapor degreaser.

- Ensuring accurate measurement and recording of product data, strictly adhering to ESD procedures.

- Potentially operating soldering equipment such as solder waves, selective solder machines, and surface mount equipment.

To excel in this role, you should have:

- A high school education or equivalent qualifications.

- Prior electromechanical manufacturing experience, preferably with proficiency in microscope soldering or holding IPC-610 & J-STD certificates.

- A commitment to obtaining J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certifications to qualify for the Solder position.

- Strong ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions, as well as interpret blueprints.

- Capability to handle repetitive hand motions during hand soldering tasks.

- Flexibility to work in both seated and standing positions, as hand soldering and machine soldering functions may require.

Your schedule will be:

1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 6:00AM to 2:30PM, offering a starting wage of $22.00 per hour with overtime opportunities actively encouraged.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
