What are we looking for in our Supply Chain Data Analyst?



Job Title: Supply Chain Data Analyst

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Rate: $30-33/hr, DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Data Analyst to assist in preparing for emerging global Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations. This role involves communicating with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing product and supply chain information, and managing responses. The position offers a chance to gain insights into new and evolving supply chain ESG regulations within an international company in a non-laboratory setting.



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Communication:
    • Request and gather data to support global regulations
    • Conduct initial review to ensure data completeness
    • Follow-up on missing information
  • Data Management/Documentation:
    • Update tracking tools with vendor progress, risks, and key metrics
    • Maintain and update the vendor and material records
    • Organize submitted data by vendor/product
  • Project Team Communication:
    • Notify procurement partners when data is ready for evaluation
    • Communicate any concerns, roadblocks, and risks identified
  • Support Activities:
    • Collaborate with the project team to integrate data into internal Business Intelligence (BI) tools
    • Assist in the implementation of a third-party IT SaaS data evaluation solution


Required Skills:

  • Basic understanding of product and/or supply chain EHS/ESG
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently
  • Team-oriented and results-driven mindset
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Sustainability, Compliance, Supply Chain, CSR, or related fields from an accredited institution


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with online databases
  • Knowledge of process improvement, project management, and data management
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, risk assessment, governance, and product compliance
