Job description

We are currently working with a growing Manufacturing company that is looking to fill the role of Logistics Manager who is responsible for managing production, shipping, and receiving of truck bodies as planned in the production schedule.

Essential Job Responsibilities:


  1. Works with the Manufacturing Managers to coordinate departmental workflow, internal production planning, and oversees productivity with prep/logistics area.
  2. Coordinates and directs receiving and shipping logistics both internally and externally.
  3. Manages installation of product that is considered "offline" content.
  4. Manages schedules, materials, personnel, and attends production related meetings.
  5. Assists Production Workers and Production Technicians by providing training, guidance, and support in the manufacturing processes. Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists others in solving work related problems.
  6. Assists with or maintains time and production records. Participates in all continuous improvement activities by offering suggestions.
  7. Exceeds quality standards in most every job assignment.
  8. Follows all organizational and departmental procedures, safety policies and directions

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3-5 years previous management experience.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, and volume. Able to utilize tape measure, square, and possesses ability to read dimension prints effectively. Capable of applying concepts of basic algebra, geometry and statistics.

MUST have logistics background in manufacturing and must be able to directly supervises a team of production employees.
