Great Hill is seeking a Personnel Security Officer based in South Carolina. The objective of this work is to provide security/administrative support to personnel security requirements that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures and systems. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Provide overall Personnel Security Management support to USAFCENT SAP/SAR and on overall personnel security policies and procedures for ACCM and SCI information. Must have successfully completed Defense Security Service Personnel Security Adjudication course. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist the cognizant PSO on current personnel security policies and procedures for obtaining and maintaining SAR/SAP access. Assist the cognizant PSO/CSA in implementing and maintaining a system of notifying individuals when periodic reinvestigations (PR) are due. Assist the cognizant PSO/CSA in the use of Joint Access Data Enterprise (JADE) and/or the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to verify level of access. DISS is a DOD system that will use the NIPRNET to connect security personnel around the world with a database managed by DOD Agency Central Adjudication Facilities (CAFs). Assist the cognizant PSO/CSA in maintaining current security clearance eligibility and access lists for both permanent party and visitor personnel. Conduct SAR program indoctrinations/debriefings, as necessary. Develop Program Access Requests (PAR), act as the SAP Nomination Review Official. Prepare and forward, as appropriate, visit notifications/certifications for USAFCNET SAP-accessed personnel performing temporary duty. Additionally, assist in ensuring appropriate collateral and SCI visit notifications are prepared and forwarded, as appropriate . Exercise after-action reports: Develop and publish formal exercise after-action reports must be submitted within five (5) working days of the completion of each exercise as tasked by the Government. Trip Reports: Trip reports (Contractor format) must be submitted within five (5) working days of the completion of each trip or meeting as tasked by the Government. These reports must include, at a minimum, the purpose of the trip, destination, dates traveled, organizations/persons contacted and a discussion of the results.
