North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Director PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a nursing job in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Leadership:
Responsible for the overall management and operations of nursing
Provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all initiatives and programs within scope of responsibility
Promotes and enforces departmental compliance with general safety and infection control standards
Ensures effective and efficient patient care
Supervision/Management:
Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises all of nursing.
Provides direction in the development and management of personnel within responsible departments
Evaluates and provides coaching to employees within scope of responsibility
Continuously monitors patient and employee satisfaction
Budget:
Oversees inpatient nursing units' budget development, implementation, and compliance
Liaison:
Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members
Reporting:
Prepares and presents operational and financial reports/projects as required
Education:
Stay abreast of changes in healthcare and Nursing
Regulation :
Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Nursing or Health Administration; required
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Mississippi Board of Nursing; required
Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role; required
Extensive knowledge of Nursing; preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial/supervisory role; required
Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required
Working knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, goal setting, and personnel management; preferred
Working knowledge of computers and computer software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.); required
Interaction with a patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics; required
Excellent interpersonal skills; required
