The individual shall use knowledge of NGA's standard product as it relates to AOR, Chart Series, and marginalia data for press operations to include creating and providing information on Mapping, Charting, & Geodesy (MC&G), Foundation GEOINT (FG), Content, and Safety of Navigation (SoN) for ingest and population into a CADRG/ECRG title. The individual shall produce and disseminate CADRG/ECRG products in accordance with NGA foreign release guidelines. The senior-level Production Leader will support a team in Arnold, Missouri. Responsibilities: Support CADRG Government Team Lead as required in communicating with customers and vendors both inside and outside the agency, other government agencies, NGA International Offices for co-production, and Security Offices for classification of products Add metadata to disparate databases as required to support current CADRG production Support the CADRG Government Lead to establish and manage detailed production goals, strategies, and processes. Create, update, and manage geospatial information system databases and products. Research using ArcGIS and QGIS software and common office business software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and internet browsers) and use internet and other general research tools. Sources regularly used include: native maps, secondary source maps, historic maps used for extraction and comparison, textual documents, Internet sources and imagery at various resolutions. Services will result in the creation of shapefiles, geo-databases, and data retrieval/storage Work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fast-paced conditions; must be available to perform duties in a multiple-shift environment, as necessary Attend meetings with NGA government personnel when requested. Through meetings and conferences, provide accurate information to influence partner decisions and points of view in favor of NGA and organizational objectives Use GEODEC software to geo-reference and de-collar required charts for production and apply appropriate metadata. Team members are expected to learn the software thoroughly and have a firm understanding of georeferencing procedures Use ACCORD software (Client and Cloud) to convert charts into CDRG and ECRG. Team members are expected to learn the software thoroughly and over time, have a keen understanding of CADRG and ECRG products Review CADRG and ECRG data following checklists, updating spreadsheets, and communicating status are a part of this effort Users shall view and review products using the software Falcon View. Training will be provided and team members are expected to learn the capabilities required for the CADRG/ECRG team Team members shall assist the CADRG lead with testing procedures, offering feedback and notes. Team members shall communicate at times with the CADRG development team, always looping in the CADRG Lead, for technical issues and troubleshooting. Team members may also attend technical meetings the pertain to the creation of CDRG and ECRG. Team members shall be responsible for copying completed data to the appropriate data stores on the Gateway and at times, run scripts to ensure data is formatted correctly. Putty software is used for these purposes. Participate in Artwork creation to accompany CADRG and ECRG deliveries using Rimage CD Designer Software. This may require some employees to have DTO privileges to access CD/DVD drives on NGA computers. Required Qualifications: Requires TS/SCI Clearance 10+ years of relevant experience (A combination of years of experience & professional certifications/trainings can be used in conjunction with a degree) Knowledge of and experience with various NGA products and maps to include CADRG/ECRG, topographic, hydrographic, and aeronautical GPC-F Knowledge of and experience with Georeferencing Knowledge of and experience with data analysis and analytics Knowledge of and experience with Rimage and Bartender software output files Knowledge of and experience with ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro suite of tools Experience programming in NET, Python, C++ and/or Java.
